SD-BR System
Connecting the SD-BR device to an HF transceiver in the broadcast mode creates a data broadcasting system. The SD-BR System is compatible with all analog HF transceivers. Complying with broadcast standards, the SD-BR device transmits messages to the receivers without any feedback, and the receivers automatically receive the signal. Any HF receiver within the transmitter's coverage area can receive the signal. The transmitted data files can be received and decrypted at the SD-BR receiver.
Features
SD-BR Transmitter
At the HF broadcasting station, the SD-BR transmitter is connected to a computer and a high-power HF transmitter. Depending on the user's broadcasting plan, the system will broadcast the messages in file format to receivers in the coverage area.
The SD-BR System broadcasts STANAG 4285 and 4539 compliant data.
SD-BR Receiver
At the message-receiving station, the SD-BR receiver connects to the HF transceiver to receive the broadcast signal. The SD-BR receiver automatically picks up the signal when the HF transceiver receives a signal from the transmitter. When the data file is confirmed to have been received completely and correctly, the data file will be written to the computer and can be displayed on the computer screen if the user wants to read the message.
